The All American Futurity is a race for two-year-old American Quarter Horse racehorses run at Ruidoso Downs Race Track in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico. It started in 1959, with a purse of $129,686.85. It has always billed itself as the richest race in American Quarter Horse racing, In 1978 the purse was over a million dollars and in 1982, the winner's portion of the purse totaled over a million dollars for the first time. 2012 the 1st place horse will win over 1.2 millon dollars! This race caps off the racing season on Labor Day weekend at the beautiful Ruidoso Downs track nestled in the mountains outside of Ruidoso.

"Intent on Honor" 2001 Grey Mare
I did time only's with her as a 4yr old and tried to get her really solid. She was running top of 3D with out being pushed. She was about 3/4 off the winners at her first Futurity. 2007 was a great starter year for Sterling, she's been strong and moved up the rungs to be consistent in the 2D and hit the 1D even! 2008 has been an amazing year for Sterling. Crowned the 2008 Cruel Girl Classic Champion, she brought home a Titan 18ft Gooseneck trailer. She's steadily progressed this season, and is a true Diva, loving the rodeo's and excitement of the crowds. She's consistent at the top of the 2D and often in the 1D, and only getting better with every run. 2009 started off with high hopes, until an injury gave her some time off. 2010 was a great year! Sterling is getting consistant in the 1D and even placed in the top 15 of the open at the 2010 WPRA World Finals!

Annie is my next prospect. She's a gift from my husband and parents. She's been the easiest horse to get started! A very quick learner, and wants to work! I'm really excited for the next couple of years.

1996 Sorrel Mare "Mavplayer"
Maverick was a wedding gift from my father, she's won a couple of saddles and was a strong 1D runner.
She has earned AQHA points in barrels and poles, before becoming a brood mare.
She'll be bred to Danger Cartel for an 2013 foal.

Bluesa started her career on the track. She's been in training for barrels with Chris Eberline of Riverton, Wy. Bluesa will hit the barrel pen at select events in 2013.
